Professor Lady Ngozi Franca Okoye PhD studied Biochemistry before working in Nigerian Agip Oil Company as an Environmental and Quality Control Analyst. She took an M.Sc. degree in Biochemistry. She also got a PhD degree in Biochemistry. She Lectured for over sixteen years in the University of Port Harcourt where she supervised over 70 BSc, 20 MSc and 4 PhD theses. She is also a Visiting / Adjunct Professor at GOU University.
She is also a Professor of Biochemistry and Information Technology from a university in the United States. She was appointed a Professor and Academic personnel at Institut de Diplomatie Publique London UK. She is an OECD, UN, WHO Summit Delegate representing the Institut and regularly attends global summits as part of her brief in the Institut. Furthermore she is a Climate Policy & Public Diplomacy Course Developer also at the Institut. She recently completed a certificate course on Health Effects of Climate Change from Harvard University T. H. Chan School of Public Health. She also completed an Economic Leadership course from the University of Oxford UK. In addition, she also did a certificate course in University of Cambridge on Digital Productivity and Wellbeing. Furthermore, she studied for an MSc in Information Technology at the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom. She worked at Glaxo Smithkline, Runcorn England as Data Migration Scientist before she moved to British Telecom (BT) London United Kingdom, where she worked for many years, as a Systems Integration Engineer. Prof Ngozi Franca Okoye later became the Managing Editor of Good Life Magazines. She has anchored many inspirational talks, and has mentored a lot of people. She is a Life Coach. She is the Founder of drfranca.com, owner of Franca Media, Franca TV, Franca Magazine, Franca Daily News and owner and host of The Franca Show and Good Life Today (GLT) with over 100,000 Followers. She is also the Founder of Franca Academy Programme FAP and WEP (Women Epical Programme). Prof Ngozi Franca Okoye founded an Organisation called YWISET (Young Women in Science Education and Technology) with over 500 members. She is the author of many inspirational books including ‘A Happy marriage is a Balanced Equation, Marriage has no formular’, ‘Unique Me Unique You Build Your Self Esteem and Improve Your Self Confidence in One Week’ and ‘Self Improvement is a Work in Progress’. She is a member of the prestigious Sigma Xi scientific honour society and was elected into the nominations committee of Sigma Xi, for a term of three years. She was also appointed into the Global outreach committee of Sigma Xi. She is also a member of La Caixa team of scientific expert reviewers. She has so many awards and she recently received an award of Icon of Excellence. She is also a Lady Knight of Saint Mulumba. Professor Ngozi Franca Okoye is currently the President of the Union of Catholic Mothers in her Parish in United Kingdom. Recently, she was appointed into the board of directors as a Director and Trustee of an Educational Trust in the United Kingdom. As a researcher, she has over fifty scientific peer reviewed publications in international journals to her credit. She is also the author of two Biochemistry books and a chapter in a book. Her research interests include drug formulation from natural sources, toxicology, environmental bioremediation, metabolic and endocrine biochemistry. She is into real estate and an avid Entrepreneur. She runs her own property investment and management business. She is happily married to her soulmate and love of her life Professor Sir Ifedi Peter Okoye and she has five fabulous children with him.
